@disneyparks Just made some exciting announcements about the upcoming holiday season and I’m so ready for it!!!

⭐️ At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights will make a magical return on select nights starting November 9 through December 21.

⭐️ At Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be bringing back its beloved celebration featuring Mickey and friends in a merry parade, spectacular fireworks, and delightful holiday treats on select nights from November 8 through December 20!

⭐️ EPCOT will host the International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth, where visitors can explore global holiday traditions, savor seasonal flavors from around the world, and enjoy heartwarming performances starting on November 11 through December 30.

⭐️ Disney Cruise Line will offer more beloved Very Merrytime sailings this winter, where select sailings will light up with the spirit of the holidays.

We’ve officially been full time RVers for 4 weeks now! Most of that time was spent stationary on private land, but this past week we got to experience what life is like at a @thousandtrails campground!! We were hosted at the Thousand Trails Orlando location, which is in Clermont, FL.

It was really nice to settle in for a week and get to know other campers, take advantage of the pool and pickle ball courts, explore other attractions in the area and take a short drive to Disney!

Thousand Trails is celebrating the #100DaysofCamping between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Share a picture of your camping trip this Summer and use this hashtag!

The Summer flies by SO fast. What are you doing to make it count? I’d encourage you to plan a camping trip at some point this Summer!! I like to call family camping trips a “TEAM BUILDING” exercise 😉 There’s definitely a degree of stress involved, but if you frame it correctly, it can become a really beneficial moment in your family’s story. Growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones. For a lot of people, camping is definitely out of their comfort zone!! Disconnect for a while and go camping! Get out there and make some memories this Summer!

Come ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with us at @waltdisneyworld 🐸

We previewed it this week and absolutely loved it! We were smiling the entire time. Tiana’s will officially open to the public on June 28. It will be available as a virtual queue and with Genie+. You must be 40” to ride.

Even our most timid rider that was always scared to ride Splash Mountain (and doesn’t like big rides), was won over by the new theming of this ride! She actually enjoyed it for the first time and can’t wait to go again. I’d call that a win!

We are being hosted this week at @thousandtrails Orlando to kick off #100DaysofCamping 🏕️ Here’s what we are loving about our time here so far:👇

☀️ The pool and pickleball courts! We love that there are plenty of chairs and shade. Plus, the Pickleball court is literally right next to the pool so after a quick game in the Florida heat, you can jump in the water to cool off!
☀️ Picking our campsite. Everyone gets to pick their own site once they have checked in. We chose a spot right across the street from the rec center! We’re also very close to a nice bathhouse.
☀️ Everyone we have met is so nice! The community vibe here is wonderful. We have met a lot of full-time RVers and seasonal campers that stay for the month. Everyone says this is by far their favorite place to camp in Florida.
☀️ A quick drive to @waltdisneyworld 🙌 Close enough to see the Disney fireworks from across the lake, and about a 30 minute drive to Animal Kingdom.
☀️ Daily activities. The activity calendar has something for everyone. Since checking in last week, our kids have played candy bar bingo and participated in a craft fair. We could’ve also attended movie night, a kids gardening class and pickleball lessons! Most weekends feature live music and dancing 💃🎸🎤

Thousand Trails features a membership that allows you to camp all year at a low monthly fee. A membership is not required however, anyone can camp here for a nightly fee.

Our friends at @thousandtrails invited us to celebrate #100daysofcamping with them at their Orlando resort, and we are having a great time! We finally took the opportunity to film an RV tour that shows how the seven of us are staying cozy in this 32 foot RV.

If you haven’t heard, our family is living full-time in our RV while we hunt for a new house in the Orlando area. I have secretly always wanted to experience full time RV living, so I’m thankful to have this time together!

Thousand Trails are located throughout the US and offer short-term or long-term camping. You may have heard about their annual camping pass, which is a membership that allows you to camp all year long for a low monthly fee. I’m excited to find out more about the Thousand Trails membership while we stay here in Orlando!

We’ve always wanted to stay at a Thousand Trails campground. So far the kids are having a great time at the pool, Pickleball courts and participating in daily activities at the rec center! We’ve already met quite a few people, made new friends and really enjoy the feeling of community.

Happy National Donut Day! We have been on a mission to try every donut shop in the Orlando area. Donut Central is locally owned, features classic donuts at reasonable prices, and specialty donuts that you can order for any occasion. They roast their own coffee beans in-house and the pour-over I tried was perfection!!

Our first stop was @parlordoughnutsorlando where we fell in love with their signature, layered doughnut. Our favorite was the maple bacon doughnut! They also feature great coffee, drinks and savory brunch items. Parlor Doughnuts has franchise locations across the United States, but this was our first time trying them!

Jekyll Island, GA is about a 3 hour drive from Central Florida. We have passed it many times on our drives up the coast to visit family, but had never stopped! It is definitely worth a quick stop or overnight visit.

-Entry onto the island costs $10 per vehicle
-There are several hotels and a campground on the island
-Rent bikes to explore the many trails
-Driftwood Beach is best accessed during low tide
-There is very limited parking along the road and minimal signage
-There are no restrooms at this particular beach
-There are several other beautiful beaches with great parking and bath facilities
-There are small shops and a small grocery store on the island
-There is a turtle rescue facility that you can pay to experience
-We visited during mid-May and the island had very low crowds

As we prepare to sell our home, I’ve been getting nostalgic and going back to look at the before shots. The before picture were so bad!! 😳 We bought this home sight unseen, as a short sale. When we took possession, there were dead animal carcasses rotting on the floors, lots of personal possessions left behind, weird smells, and a very green pool. 🤢 I’ve often said we didn’t get to do very many fun updates because everything went into repairs and behind the scenes stuff. That’s one of the reasons I haven’t overly shared pictures of our home or projects we have completed. But as we prepared to get it on the market, I’m still pretty blown away by the before, and afters!

We have been working so hard at getting our house ready to sell, I just needed to give the kitchen a little love on social media. We’ve done little updates over the years that made a big impact (refinishing cabinets, upgrading hardware, removing upper cabinets and putting in open shelving, adding a peel and stick backsplash, installing new faucet). Now that we’re selling, we took it a step further by upgrading all the lighting and swapping out the peel and stick backsplash for ceramic tile. We also installed a new cooktop, cleaned and decluttered. What do you think made the biggest impact?

RUN to the LEGO store at Disney Springs for May the 4th!! We were hosted yesterday at Disney Springs to highlight some of the awesome things going on for Star Wars day and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars!
The LEGO store has some super fun promos going on TODAY only. They also have new sets, Star Wars photo ops and a FREE make and take Star Wars figure. But the coolest thing you can take part in is a mural being built entirely out of LEGO. Put together a piece and then add it to the wall. The full mural will be complete today and will only be here this weekend!
